FinTechBhutan is pleased to announce that the second cohort of the Regulatory Sandbox is now in full swing, with participating fintech innovators actively testing their solutions under the supervision of the Royal Monetary Authority of Bhutan (RMA). Following the cohort’s selection earlier this year, the eight fintech ventures are currently engaged in a six-month testing phase designed to refine their products and ensure regulatory compliance. This cohort focuses on diverse areas including digital lending, financial inclusion, AI-powered solutions, and digital payments, reflecting Bhutan’s commitment to fostering a vibrant and innovative financial ecosystem. The sandbox provides a safe and supportive environment for startups and established players to pilot new technologies, receive expert feedback, and prepare for broader market deployment. The RMA continues to encourage fintech innovators to leverage this platform to drive financial innovation while ensuring consumer protection and systemic stability.
